About Us And The Oil
Chapel Farm is situated on the outskirts of Burmarsh on the beatuiful Romney Marshes of Kent.
It is farmed by Andrew Martin and his wife Sarah. Andrew's family have farmed there since the end of the second world war and he is the third generation of his family to till the fields. Andrew grows wheat, oilseed rape, barley, oats and beans.
Andrew says: "when we first began producing oil, Sarah and I quickly sourced some really pretty, small 200ml bottles. We designed our own label, filled the bottles with oil and gave them away to as many people as we could. The response was amazing."
After such good feedback they decided to go full steam ahead and produce the oil commercially.
Sarah says: "it seemed to take ages to find the right bottle this time. We wanted something elegant and comtemporary, but much bigger, one that was easy to store, fill and label. It's amazing what you learn during that kind of process!"
Oak Creative, near Hythe Kent were Andrew and Sarah's next port of call. "Again, the label needed to reflect the image of the bottle - elegant and contemporary. We think you'll agree it does just that!" says Sarah.
